There is beauty found in the ashes
The beauty in the gospel is that the death of Christ gives us new life. His ashes give us beauty.
God only bring beauty out of ashes. His wonderful word tells us that in our self we can do nothing, but through his Son Jesus Christ we are able to do more than abundantly beyond our imagination when we stretch out in faith.
Accepting Christ Jesus gives us the entrance
to be called children of God
and to enter all the blessings He has for us.
When we allow the Holy Spirit to bring fire to our lives, He burns everything in our life that will be a hinder for us in walking out the blessings from God. The ashes are our beauty and something we can be proud of because it is in the ashes God will bring down his beauty and blessings.
You cannot give life to something that already is alive. You can only bring life to something that is dead. By faith we receive Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour, and by faith we live out His life through us every day. Knowing that our own life and who we are will only be lifted and glorified when we see that we can only be and do everything through Christ Jesus.
The world we live in today has so much stress, so much demands, and there is so much pressure of being the best, perfect and have success in every area. It is sad to see that it also is highly seen in many Christian organizations. The reality of the worlds demand today has caused so many stress related diseases, wrong images of who the church are and who we are as Christians. It is one thing that the world is living under this pressure but as a living church of Christ the wonderful love from God has another solution through his church and his children.
Each day we may be filled with the wonderful peace from God.
A peace that silence the demands and the stress from this world.
Every demand and pressure may be lifted off our lives when we come to see that what Jesus Christ has done for us is enough. He long so much to just tell us how we can live out our lives knowing we have it all in him, all peace, all strength, all power, all deliverance, every miracle, it is written in his name; Jesus.
He is the truth, the life and the way.
When His word say He is our provider, then we read about the truth over our lives.
When the word say He is the life, then we read that our lives are in him and we may live out the life he lived and live,
when he says he is the way, we no longer have to look for any other doors or ways, because His word has given us all the answers we need in every situation we may face.
By his death we are raised to life, by laying down our own life and die so his life; the word (John 1) may live through us.
To console those who mourn in Zion,
To give them beauty for ashes,
The oil of joy for mourning,
The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness;
That they may be called trees of righteousness,
The planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified.
