Boost with herbs and spices that heals
The benefits of food are so many, and one that I love the most is the anti-inflammatory benefit. You have herbs and spices that you can add to your meal when you just need to boost your system or need to get out some inflammation in your body.
The best help is often to prevent and if we have some of these ingredients in our daily meals we are taking good care of our body. It also will help to prevent stress and to increase the risk of disease.
One of my favorite spices are curcumin and turmeric. They both help to ease inflammation and if your ad black pepper, it will make your body absorb all the benefits in the spices.

Cumin is something I find good to combine with beans, lentils and especially chickpeas. It can help to lover LDL (the bad cholesterol) and is also good for our digestion system.
Ginger is my everyday must have. I use it in my morning tea, in my smoothies and in every meal that the taste matches. The benefits of ginger are just amazing. I use it both to prevent, but also as a treatment when my body is not quite up to its best. It has anti-inflammatory properties and will also ease your stomach. Some may also find it to be helpful for migraines.
Paprika is full of the vitamin A, that boost our skin. It also is rich in antioxidants and have the benefitable use for healing free radical damage throughout our body. You will find that when it is heated it will give flavor to the food.
Cinnamon is a must every day for me. I add it in my smoothies, my coffee, my tea and on everything that it is addable with. It sweetens and make you use less sugar or sweetener, or preferable – non-at all. Its good benefits is high on antioxidants and therefor also a good inflammation source. It has the label also to regulate blood sugar.
Ever tried to make baked potatoes with olive oil and rosemary? It is a must try! Rosemary is good to use when you need to lower your stress and get better focus and concentration. It also has the benefits to improve your mood.
Did you know that there are more than 600 varieties of mints? The most common are peppermint and spearmint. It is perfect to use on desserts, cakes and smoothies. It has a high level of antioxidants and is also known to help for allergy.
