What do you see

Happy Easter, and a wonderful Saturday to you. Hope you are enjoying your weekend.

I often like to be outside just to reflect when I have somethings I want answers for or just to de stress from it all. I have found a wonderful park in Maitland; Florida, Lake Lily, and there are so much to look at and just breath in. I have been there several days this week and met so many lovely people that have shared their life story. Just under the trees on the bench.

The last week I have been thinking about the story in Mark 6.45-52 where Jesus walks on the water.

The sentence that has constantly been on my mind is; What do you see. I have gone over and over all my deepest stories in the bible where signs, wonders and miracles were and that is one of my hearts desires. But to my surprise it was not the most important element in the story. So, I went on reflecting around all the people in the bible and others I have met or heard of that have had bumps in the road in their walk with Christ or just in life in general. How when we look at the circumstances we sink and looking at Christ we can walk on the water. To my surprise that was not either the most important element in the story to me.

Then I went on thinking about all the elements in the story, all the disciples that did not take a step, the storm, Peter, the water, the boat, and so on. Like you feel the business in a story and cannot concentrate, but just get so focused on everything that nothing really happens. Anybody know the feeling? And now I was suddenly starting to reach my focus in the story. Because if we eliminate all the noise, the things that take our attention, then we get to the core of what God wants us to have our mind set on.

Maybe you have never thought of that the devil also knows the bible and wants to use it as noise in our lives to not get in the core of Gods plan for us. He knows how to twist things the wrong way so we get stressed, focused on the wrong things, details and uses our flesh to mend it all by our own will.

That brings me to the focus; Jesus.

He knows it all, He has seen it all, He will give us guidance in how to act in every situation to have Victory.

Not Victory as the world sees it, but Victory according to Gods Word.

Jesus, Son of God, Mighty Warrior, Our Salvation, Mighty King, Gentle in Love, Present in Mercy, His Name is all we need.

His name is the Word, His name Contains all we need in life.

We must walk so closely with The Holy Spirit, trusting his guidance, knowing his voice and in our everyday walk just rest in the knowledge that we are saved by Grace.

Jesus Walks on the Water

45 Immediately Jesus made his disciples get into the boat and go on ahead of him to Bethsaida, while he dismissed the crowd. 46 After leaving them, he went up on a mountainside to pray.

47 Later that night, the boat was in the middle of the lake, and he was alone on land. 48 He saw the disciples straining at the oars, because the wind was against them. Shortly before dawn he went out to them, walking on the lake. He was about to pass by them, 49 but when they saw him walking on the lake, they thought he was a ghost. They cried out, 50 because they all saw him and were terrified.

Immediately he spoke to them and said, “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.” 51 Then he climbed into the boat with them, and the wind died down. They were completely amazed, 52 for they had not understood about the loaves; their hearts were hardened.
